What people say about Doze

Just a heads up that it’s not free entry like their promoters will tell you (who also borderline harass women by physically grabbing them to join the queue). For foreigners at least, it’s 15K for women and 20K for men. They VERY slowly let people in which makes me think they purposely have a long queue to make it look popular. Unlimited tequila shots included but very weak. The music was all western rap and hip hop with a live DJ. The crowd was more just there to drink and smoke rather than dance too.

If I could give this place zeros stars I would. Avoid at all costs if partying in Hongdae. They let girls in for free then charge them to leave, is that even legal? Door guy is an absolute maniac, don’t be fooled by the loud music & waste your money here.

By far the worst club I’ve ever been to! We were kicked out for no real reason – they gave us some ridiculous excuse, but it was obvious it happened just because we’re foreigners. Absolutely disgusting and discriminatory behavior. The staff were rude, arrogant, and completely unprofessional. A place that treats people differently because of their background should be ashamed to even operate. Save your money, time, and energy – go somewhere where guests are treated with respect.

One star doesn’t even begin to reflect how terrible our experience was. This was by far the worst club we’ve ever been to. The security at the door was physically aggressive and racist. The staff inside were rude, unwelcoming, and clearly biased against foreigners. We were charged significantly more than Koreans, only to be kicked out 30 minutes later for “dancing too much”, at a club! What else were we supposed to do? Stand still? Avoid this place. There are plenty of other clubs in the area that won’t overcharge you, harass you, or throw you out for no reason.

My friends and I got kicked out of the club for no valid reason. We were simply standing together in a small circle talking, after being pushed around by other people all night. Instead of helping or asking us to move, the security threw us out immediately. It was obvious that this had nothing to do with “blocking space”. It felt more like they had a problem with foreigners. If you don’t treat all guests equally, you shouldn’t call yourself a club for everyone.
