Yes. Costumes are welcome on Halloween weekend and most clubs expect them. Masks and face coverings must come off at the ID check, and full-face masks may be refused inside. Foreigners show a passport — a photo of it is usually not accepted.

The district runs heavy crowd management on Halloween night — controlled streets, police presence and early venue caps. The practical advice: arrive early, stay inside the venue rather than in the crowd on the street, and avoid narrow alleys when they get busy. Hongdae and Gangnam are less congested alternatives.
